Fig Gully is an enchanted part of the forest in one of my gullies. It is where the Ficus rubiginosa clings to the rocks that line the edge of the creek. The rocks are covered with moss and the leaves change colour through the autumn and fall to make space for the new green ones. There are yabby holes around the rocks and at night there are glow worm as the edge of the bank in the mud. It is also a place for the most amazing fungus to grow. The tree glows with life.
