Nanshe is now stocked at Maitland Regional Art Gallery Shop
Maitland Regional Art Gallery now houses my collection incorporating antique pipe parts and other recycled materials made into jewellery pieces.
I Loves birds so it is no accident to find multiple pieces in the collection featuring our winged friends. I have also added pieces including Pottery Shard treasures from The Thames London, Secret Beach Hobart and St Albans, varying from 1920,s to as far back as the late 1700s.
The one use clay tobacco pipe parts I use have been bleached and painted on and are from as early as around 1750. Found by me on the Thames River in London in the mud, the pipes are one of my favourite limited edition materials.
I always use solid Recycled sterling silver in my work, including hooks, catches, wire and plate, however this time I have included sterling silver chains, which to my knowledge are not recycled.
Every piece is individual. I hope you enjoy looking at my new collection and get to take something home with you.
